Well we only was here for a flight that we had to b at the airport at 3 am. I can say they checked us in early and was very helpful. The rooms were clean. If you need to do laundry, which we did; they only have ONE washer and ONE dryer.plus it's $2.50 for both. We had to wait forever to dry because another guest was washing and drying and put in more coins to dry so we had to wait another 45 min to dry our clothes. So I'd find another place to wash & dry or press your luck. That's why I gave a 3 star on service.
This was our first time staying at La Quinta before a flight. We’ve stayed at the hotel directly attached to the airport before & I can honestly say, we’ll probably choose La Quinta again in the future. Kristina helped check us in & she was incredibly friendly and helpful. Answered everything for us & explained how to take the shuttle for the airport. The shuttle follows you to your parking spot so you’re not waiting for one & takes about 5-10 min to get to the airport itself. Our room was clean & beds were comfortable. Check out was a breeze & they had muffins, coffee & juice at checkout for our early flight. Highly recommend for those staying for those early morning flights.
I stay around here often, i always look for atound $100 rooms. That being said, this hoyel.is the BEST hotel fir this price range. I WILL NOT STAY ANYWHERE ELSE! Most I have paid is $120 otd, and the rooms are soooo clean, staff is amazing (morning front desk girl is stunningly beautiful ) and the breakfast is good as well. No pool but worth the differance in cleanliness for this area as that is vastly different. Last place I stayed over here for that price had dried vomit on the side of the bed! Trust me. You will not be disappointed here!
I stayed at the Wyndham Detroit Hotel La Quinta for one night and had a very pleasant experience. The room was comfortable, offering a relaxing atmosphere after a long day of travel, but it is not cleaned properly. I could see dust around the bed lamps and also marks on the bed side table. One of the standout features was the airport shuttle service, which was very convenient. It took about 20 minutes for the shuttle to pick me up at the airport, but the drop-off at the hotel was incredibly quick—only around 5 minutes. Another highlight was the breakfast, which was available starting at 6:00 AM. This early time was perfect for me since I had to leave early, and I appreciated being able to grab a bite before heading out. The breakfast selection was decent, and it gave me the fuel I needed for the day. Overall, I was impressed with the hotel's amenities and services. The shuttle made airport transfers easy, the room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was a nice bonus for early risers like me. I would definitely consider staying here again when in the Detroit area.
Staff were very nice and helpful. The room was extremely clean, spacious and comfortable. Close to the airport and provided shuttles to and from DTW. (Also wasn't far from Belle Isle). I had an early check in and was so comfortable in my overnight stay between flights. There are (2) restaurants within walking distance. Would definitely stay again. I slept so well.
Great place to stay when flying into Detroit. The free shuttle was very quick and easy. The rooms were clean and bed comfortable. The breakfast better than most with many selections including pancakes, waffles, French toast, scrambled eggs, boiled eggs, bacon, sausage, pastries, fruit and bread choices. The price was reasonable.
Just stayed here for two nights recently. Overall the stay was great! Just a few issues with the cleanliness of the room and odd aspects of the breakfast other than that my son and I really enjoyed our stay. Great proximity to the airport and also getting into downtown Detroit. Very polite staff too! I'll definitely stay here again.
If you are looking for a wonderful hassle free experience stay here the park and fly is really good. We had a 3:00 am shuttle time their driver was friendly helped with the luggage and kids. Staff at the hotel was friendly anything we asked for their were more than happy to accommodate. Rooms are very clean
